Words of wisdom from father to son.

Been thinking about the future a lot lately. Where do I want to be in 2yrs, 5yrs, 10 years. What things do I want to acheve in my life. What goals do I want to reach.

Never thought about it seriously before.. but since I recently had a birthday and our career in comics is taking off... I realised that it's time I took my life seriously and, well grow up.

Leave it to the Muppets to help bring some inspiration to my thoughts about the future.

Overhaul and Dr. Horrible

Decided I should do something custom for this blog... so the look will probably be changing alot over the next few days.

Also, just recently saw Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. If you haven't seen this yet, I strongly urge you to take the time to do so.

To help with that, here it is..

Enjoy.

Techno-Love

Finally finished the sketch I'd been working on for a few days now.... shouldn't have taken this long but life gets in the way sometimes...

Anyway, I must say that this piece was extremely influenced and inspired by (in fact the scene and pose is exactly the same as) a piece my husband did in his own style. The piece was so...... well, hot and erotic that I had to do it too using my own style..

So here it is...

If the "Warning, Adult Content" pop up at the beginning of this blog didn't warn you before, it's your own fault.

As I've said in the past... I like'm big! :evil grin:

Also worked on a new way to sign my name for this one. I've always really liked the Japanese "chops" for signing pieces but couldn't figure out how to do one that included my name.... the ones I've made in the past were just these weird technical abstracts that looked cool but gave no indication it was me... this one has my initials in it. :)

One of those days when you wake up and ask yourself “Where did I put my gun?”

Please people… for the love of god or Hostess Cupcakes, PLEASE STOP THE FEARMONGERING!!! OMG I wanna punch somebody I seriously do. If ½ the people who were claiming that we are going to be sucked into a black hole because of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in Switzerland would just shut up and read the science behind it the world would be happier place.

Fact 1: Nature slams particles into each other IN OUR ATMOSPHERE much faster than this thing can and we are still here. No black holes. This has been Emperically proven. Wanna know how. Look around you. We’re still here. Look at space. It’s still there. Nature has done this time and time again, a million time over millions of years and everything is still here.

Fact 2: The chances of any black hole being created is next to Zero. These people are good scientists. They don’t know what’s going to happen so they can’t say w/ 100% certainty… but they’ve got some pretty good ideas about what won’t happen… see Fact 1.

Fact 3: In the small, minute, tiny, microscopic chance that a black hole is created, it will be a micro black hole. What does that mean.. well, a black hole typically is the size of and has the force of the thing that collapsed to create it. The black holes we are familiar with are caused by collapsing stars. The super colider is smashing together Protons. Things that require a very expensive microscope to see. Much much much smaller than a star. These protons are going to smash into each other with the force of two mosquitoes. So, if a micro black hole is created it will be the size of a proton and have the suction force of a mosquito… which means it won’t have any suction force at all and will dissipate almost as soon as it is created.

Don’t believe me. Read it yourself on the LHC website http://lhc.web.cern.ch/lhc/. It’s all there.

:sigh: people suck sometimes…. Ok. That’s it. I’ve said me piece.

Need another day.

I need another day for the weekend. I miss working only 4 days a week. Even though Fridays are 1/2 days for me, I miss having the full day.

I flubbed a drawing this weekend. Sucks. I have the bad habit of doing a great drawing but for ONE little detail that causes eschers in the drawing and then I wind up spending massive amounts of time and effort trying to make the mistake work... and not realizing that that's the problem.

So a full day of drawing down the tube... normally it might bother me a little but I'd try to shrug it off and move on... but unfortunately my hormones are psychotic right now. I'm serious. That's not an exaggeration. I wound up freaking out, attacked a tree with multiple makeshift bats (two of which I broke) and drawing something that I didn't really care to be drawing in the first place.

Thank god Josh is the level-headed one and he calmed me down and got me to draw what I've really been wanting to draw for a while now.... and I'm very happy with the results. The piece is inspired by a picture that Josh did a few weeks ago of two anatomically correct robots "enjoying" each other. It's an incredibly sweet and sexy picture and I wanted to do a version myself... so I spent last night drawing a big, powerful robot cock with a hot robot man to go with it. :evil grin: Tonight I’ll be working on the hot robot lady to go with him.

I’ll try to post the picture here once it’s done, but I’m warning you now, it’s not for little eyes to see. J

Other than freaking out I had a nice weekend. Went out for pancakes early Sat. morning… something we haven’t done in a loooooong time. Went to Balboa Park, went to the LCS where I picked up the latest MPD Psycho book, finished Boogiepop a Dawn, and booted lots of head with Josh playing Castle Crashers. Basically took it as easy as possible.

Will start working on TR#3 again this week. Looking forward to that. It’ll be good to get that under way and finished.

I like 'em BIG...

And if you don't like it, deal with it. Big breasts are wonderful. I like my women with muscles, I like my women with big boobs. And if you think these are "unnaturally huge" you should see the model that inspired this picture. :evil grin:

From Kat's Blog

In other news, it's Friday (which rocks), it's a 1/2 day for me at the day job (double rock) there's a kick ass convention I really wish I was at going on right now (this sucks), and it's been hot an humid enough to warrant that I go nocturnal in order to get work done. When I was a kid I loved going nocturnal... now I hate it. I miss the sun and I always feel like I didn't get enough done "durring the day". Maybe I can return to a semi-normal scedual over the weekend :crosses fingers:.

Not much else to report. If I can think of something, I'll post it. :)

GREMLINS!!!!

Ok, normally I wouldn't post movies or things on my blog but THIS demanded sharing. I LOVE Gremlins 2 so when I saw this link on the Geek Speak board for a DVD "glitch" cut for the movie I had to check it out.

And now you can enjoy it too.

Sacha Feiner is a genius!!!

Three Day Weekend

Did a new sketch over the weekend. This is the first time that I've tried doing a "frame" around my picture. I'm going to have to try doing this more. I think I'm going to try to experiment more with backgrounds too. Not sure yet... just rambling here...

Didn't do much else this weekend. Saw my grandmother which was needed. Saw the in-laws and had dinner. Relaxed a bit with Josh. Watched classic Muppet Show. Overall, had a pretty good weekend.
