More Podcasts

The Geeks at Comic Geek Speak invited us to join them while they went through this month's Previews. So join us for jokes and Archie "Spoilers" and good good comics. You can go to the website or you can listen to it Right Here. :)

Also, I'd like to thank Bill Doughty (aka. Library Boy on TheComicForums.com) for the wonderful quote: "Josh and Kat are the Nick & Nora Charles of hard science fiction and dark, inappropriate humor."

Disclaimer: No actual spoilers were made for Archie #600. It is all a joke. Neither Josh nor myself have any prior knowledge to what is happening. If Archie does wind up a homeless man, it is purely coincidental. :)

Podcasts and Friendly Pimpage.

Hey everybody. Josh and I have been really busy lately beating the drum for Titanium Rain. Here are two of the podcasts we've been on recently.

The first one is at ComicRelated.com where we had a very nice chat with Chuck.

The second one, admittedly, has nothing to do with Titanium Rain, but I get to pimp the book anyway. The Comic Geek Speak guys asked me on to talk about Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service for their Book of the Month Episode (since I really enjoy that series).
You can actually listen to it Right Here.

Ok, now I'd like to take this oportunity to do a shout out to my friend Lord Shaper, who wrote an awesome article on whether Deadpool is the new Wolverine in terms of how many titles he's in. You can check it out at The Furnace.

And Finally, we have a KILLER deal on Titanium Rain #1/2. You can order your copy through DCBService.com for ONLY $2.74. As well, if you are one of the first 100 people to order the book you will receive...

I dare you to find a better deal than that!

News!!

Yes, news. I have news. Lots of news. And it's all good!!

First! My friend Jules of Marsh Rocket did this kick-ass comic in response to my Power Girl article. You should definitely go there and check it out, and while you're there, give her comic a try. It's awesome, and I'm not just saying that because she's a friend.

Next, speaking of my Power Girl article, inspired by the wonderful feedback that I received (and much pushing and encouragement from my husband) I am not going to be doing a monthly column on ComicRelated.com entitled "The 'F' Word" The "F" word being "feminism" because it means so many things to so many people. If you read the Power Girl article, you can get an idea of the vibe that I'll be writing in. ;) More information as we get closer to the day the column goes live. ;)
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chuck of Comic Related for welcoming my into the CR family. I am very honored that he has allowed me this opportunity to do a column on a subject that I feel very passionate about.

Ok, Now the BIG NEWS!!
TITANIUM RAIN IS OFFICIALLY BACK!!
Yes, the Double-Sized Relaunch Issue #1&2 is solicited under Archaia in the June Previews. Code: JUN09 0698. As well, we have ONE KILLER deal with DCBService.com. More details can be found HERE.

That's all for now.

Archaia Interview @ The Pulse

Jennifer M. Contino of The Pulse sat down with the creators of Awakening, Lone & Level Sands, Robotika and Titanium Rain and talked about the new Archaia and what they have in store for this year.

As a sample of what you'll read, here is our very own Josh Finney and his answer to what was it about Archaia that made it worth the wait...

"What was it about Archaia that made it worth the wait? Well, I suppose Mark Smylie had a lot to do with it. Those boyish good looks, that winning smile of his, his odd Obama-esque manner of speaking. What other reason does a comic creator need, really? Ask yourself, could Marvel ever promise such a fine, fashionable editor and chief? I can guarantee you Joe Quesada does NOT perform bare-chested tai-chi every morning before a convention. Mark? Well, maybe I've never seen him do this, but I'm pretty sure Mark does. Beat that, Marvel!"
